Give’m the Boot!
First and foremost, I want to thank you for coming to my blog and showing support to Sultry B! *Slight rant* I HATE THE NEW INSTAGRAM!!!! I really hate that photos are no longer posted in chronological order and it may be days after I see a new post by someone I follow and vice versa. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way but I really hope they consider changing it back to the way it used to be. *Off rant*
But let’s move forward to Sultry B….. Who loves thigh highs? *raises hand* B loves Thigh highs! You can’t go wrong with thigh high boots. You can wear them with “almost” everything, and I say almost everything because although Thick Thigh Save Lives lol, they don’t always save you from a struggle when you want to wear them with jeans, trust me I know feeling. But with this OOTD there was no struggle since I paired it with a tunic dress and duster. The duster is actually a denim button down dress but with these hips I had to switch it up and make it into a duster. Lately I’ve really been feeling dresses that can be turned into dusters. I found two more that I plan to make looks out of as well. What I like about this look is that although the pieces are really simplistic, they come together for a fashion forward look.
In other news, I’ve finally buckled down and purchased my dressform!!! I can’t wait to put it to good use. I’m so looking forward to Craftsy weekends, The Art of Draping, and YouTube! I can’t tell y’all how excited I am! Sewing is my passion and I really wish I had learned earlier but I’m thankful for the gift and the progress. I have a few things in the works to share my gift with others and really trying to improve on everything pertaining to my brand. I’m learning how to use my camera and learning more about angles (I’ve been taking my own blog photos). I still have some work to do but I’m feeling really good about it. I’ve discovered that I have access to all Adobe applications through my job and I’m trying to teach myself how to use Adobe Illustrator & Premier. Plus, I’m back to working out and looking forward to my progress. Y’all I was looking at some of my older blogs and whew if I could wish upon a star lol. I’m going to bounce back though, I gotta keep up with these new workouts from my trainer and Lord knows he gives us the business.
