Orange Crush
So are your crushing? Crushing on Orange? I am! Although my favorite color is red, I actually like this orange. It’s just the right shade to compliment my skin tone because I’m not really one who cares much for neons. The skirt I actually made a while back but I had worn it at a fashion show that I was in last year. The skirt is made of a scuba knit fabric with a very high split and wrap tip waist. Prior to making this skirt I had the intention of making a dress with it but what I love about sewing and having creative vision is that, if you can think it, you can make it.
(*Sing in Boys II Men tune) How do I say goodbye to what we had? Spring Break has come and gone and it’s back to my regularly scheduled program. I’m honestly not looking forward to getting back in the workforce groove but a girls gotta do, what a girls gotta do. And speaking of girls… My girl Kesha had a friend’s game night and when I tell you I enjoyed myself then just know that’s what I mean. First and foremost we had food from Taco Mama. Y’all know I’m a lover of Chipotle but I was hungry and who can say no to tacos? I had tried Taco Mama before but wasn’t to sold on it. I think I may have tried the shredded chicken taco and I’m not a fan of those no matter where they are from. Idk if I’m just a picky eater, in which I am, or chicken tacos are just weird. Let me know something y’all. So instead I just had beef tacos and those babies were slammin. I can now go back to Taco Mama because I had pretty much wrote them off after the first try. Of course after a few drinks and games, we had a few twerk sessions that ensued (lol). As for game night, we had a set-up of various minute to win it games. I’ll tell you right now that I am very competitive and I like to win so best believe I’m giving it my all when it’s game time.
