Sultry B: Update & Review

SULTRY B: UPDATE & REVIEW

HELLO,  HELLO! I’ve been gone a while but I’m back and its crazy how time flies. May was a total blur and here we are in June. So what have I been up to? Well…. I’ve been doing this, that, and the other. I haven’t been sewing for myself lately,  and I’m in this space where I’m inspired by things I would like to make, but finding the time hasn’t happened. Plus, I have to be real with yall, last month had its ups and downs and I am still learning more things about myself and who I am as a woman. I know we all go through those moments of self-doubt or lack of motivation but we have to get out of that rut and remember to press forward but let’s move on to this jumpsuit review. If this fabric looks familiar then it’s probably because I made a review on Fabrics I purchased at Fabric Mart Fabrics.

Jumpsuit Review:

Pattern used: self-drafted top, bottoms (Simplicity 1115) altered to make straight leg and extended inseam.

Fabric choice: Fabric Mart Fabrics floral Poly/Lycra Jersey Knit. It’s very stretchy and perfect for many items like:T-Shirts, Tunics, Dresses, Skirts and Scarves.

Time: Including trial and error of my self drafted top, I’d say maybe 12 hours give or take over 2 days including alterations.

*This jumpsuit is backless but I didn’t get a good capture so whenever I wear it again I’ll add it to the blog.
